Do I remember the days of my childhood spent huddled over a ‘colour-by-number’ book with a Crayola crayon clutched firmly in my tiny hand and poised over the image of my choosing? Yes, just like it happened yesterday. Well, it actually did, except my hand was poised over my face and not a piece of paper. I was flooded with feelings of nostalgia this week when the cutest media drop arrived from Clinique. I was instantly thrust back to my youth upon opening up a box filled with all the accoutrements for an afternoon of ‘colouring‘. I was presented with an image sheet, stickers, Crayola crayons and the new, limited edition Crayola Chubby Sticks from Clinique (R290). My afternoon was free and I was ready for playtime.

Home Office Inspiration with Superbalist

My job as a freelance web/graphic designer comes with many benefits, with one being the ability to decorate my own home office space. I could honestly spend all day on Pinterest creating boards filled with all the décor items that catch my eye. When it comes to my office space I’m drawn to a bright, fun and cute design palette. It’s a room you’re going to spend several hours in and this personal space needs to reflect your personality and at the same time keep you feeling upbeat and motivated. I spent a bit of time this weekend on the Superbalist website (apartment section) and compiled a little wishlist of things I’d love to add to my home office to freshen it up. It’s 2017 and I think it’s time for a change. Don’t you agree?  *wink*.
