March GlamBox Review {+ Video} ♥

Wednesday, March 28, 2012
This month we received new packaging. A beautiful dark charcoal shimmery box with a gorgeous silver embossed logo. There is quite a distinction between the new box and the old box. The original design was a glossy black box with the pink logo - whilst being very pretty, this new look is definitely more chic. In the March box we received a whopping 8 samples - every month it seems to get more and more. We hardly ever only get 4-5 samples. We also got two vouchers in the March box. One for 25% off at Zando.co.za and the other one for discount on a lash treatment from Alila.

If you've read some of my previous GlamBox reviews then you'll know how happy the two makeup items made me. I adore the Avon superextend extreme mascara and the Alila fix that make up spray. Both work very well - mascara does a great job of lengthening and separating lashes and the make up spray keeps your makeup in place all day long without feeling sticky. Once again Glambox doesn't disappoint with full size products. I'm almost certain that every month there has been at least one full size product in the box. You really feel like you're getting your money's worth. (R100 a month)

My top pick for this months box is definitely the Gatineau aquamemory cream. This is targeted towards dehydrated skin and is the perfect skin care item for the colder months when your face feels a bit drier and needs a bit more hydration. I honestly can't believe how lightweight this cream is. It feels like you have nothing on your skin, but still leaves your face feeling extremely moisturised. The scent is also divine- so clean and fresh. I'll definitely purchase the full size once my sample runs dry, which will be soon judging by how much I've been using it. ;)

Nisim supplied us with 3 hair care samples which I was extremely excited about. In particular the shampoo meant for hair loss. This is my main hair complaint so I can't wait to try it out. I'm currently busy with another hair loss system so I'll have to wait a bit before I can give it a try. But once I have I will definitely post a quick review. The other Nisim products were a shampoo and conditioner from their FAST range. This stands for Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy. They contain ingredients like Biotin, Pantenol and Inositol which are all part of the Vitamin B complex. These are know vitamins that help with growing hair. I've taken all these oraly in a multi vitamin and I can vouch for their hair-growing abilities.

All the ladies also received a perfume sample from Weil. I got the one called Secret. It's a lovely slightly musky scent. I mentioned that I preferred these types of fragrances in my beauty profile so I'm guessing that's why I received this specific one. The last product was more of a bonus item for the 3 month and annual subscribers. This was either a Trind hand repair or a Trind nail repair. I received the hand repair which is a rich, moisturizing hand cream that absorbs quickly. It contains duo-liposomes that are meant to revitalize your hands. My hands feel fabulous after using it and there's no sticky/greasy residue. But It has quite a heavy perfumed scent which might be off-putting to some.

If you want to subsctibe it's simple. It's R100 a month. You can register on www.glambox.co.za
